!ut File Extension

Partial torrent file downloaded with the uTorrent BitTorrent client; appended to all in-progress downloads if the “Append '.!ut' to incomplete files” option is selected in uTorrent preferences; the “.!ut” extension is removed once the file has been fully downloaded.

‘!UT’ extensions are usually seen as a ‘double-extension’ i.e. the ‘.!UT’ follows after another extension, e.g. data.avi.!UT

We noticed that some user are transferring this file !ut from FTP. We are advising all user not to download this file as this has caused the utorrent back-end to crash or the selected download to stop on error.The !ut file will disappear once the utorrent has fully downloaded your selected torrent

Update: Server / Webui Back Online

HTTP Download Acting Up Again :(

Greetings,

Once again we are facing problem with HTTP Download. Altho its online but its having frequent disconnection and timeout.

Please use FTP Download for now. Please get FTP link and put it in your download manager for full speed.

You can use FTP program like smartFTP / FlashFXP to get FTP url and then put the url into your Download Manager. If you use FTP Program to download, it will be very slow since most of FTP Programs using single connection.

We are working extra hours to get this fixed. We are considering to upgrade our hardware to sustain HEAVY users download.

[MINOR] Connectivity Problem

We are currently expriencing Connectivity Problem.

During this period, you might get slow speed, timeout issue, unable to access webUI. Please don’t panic.
We are working with our Datacenter guy to fix it ASAP.

Update #1: [1.14am] Server back online. Please allow up to 60mins for the webui to be online

Update #2: [4.30am] Webui back online. All services resumed back to normal

Server will be rebooted to allow windows update patches and some minor tweaking.

webUI will be down until 2am for massive re-configuration and tweaks

HTTP and FTP are running as usual.

Update [01.07am]: Webui back online. HTTP Downloads enabled with 10connection per ip. Previously it was 20 but seems the webserver couldn’t handle large amount of simultaneous connection.

Seems there is a problem with Streamyx in Penang. Webui activation will be delay. ETA unknown
